Although Pope Francis’ letter On Care for our Common Home addresses our need to care for God’s creation generally, it especially highlights the strong scientific consensus that climate change is caused by human action and will very likely have catastrophic consequences if not addressed urgently. It is already having devastating effects on poor and vulnerable people around the world who suffer the most.
